Pikes Peak Regional Chapter Volunteer of the Year 2024
It is our honor and pleasure to announce the Pikes Peak Regional Chapter’s Volunteer of the Year for 2024:
Manuel Rendon:
A behind-the-scenes contributor, this nominee maintains the chapter’s website with great care, ensuring it is up to date and functional. They also provide crucial assistance to the VP of Communication, always responding quickly to requests. Their quiet, consistent efforts have made them an indispensable asset to the team, providing vital support without seeking the spotlight or recognition.
We are grateful for all our volunteers who give their time and expertise to our chapter membership!
Our other finalists were:
Tom Conlon:
Filling a critical gap, this nominee stepped in as the acting VP of Operations, taking on an essential leadership role when it was most needed. They have been instrumental in supporting military outreach, contributing to a vital segment of the chapter's mission. Additionally, by implementing a streamlined chapter meeting checklist, they’ve ensured that meetings run smoothly, highlighting their strong organizational skills and commitment.
Rachel Hachey:
This individual consistently goes above and beyond, actively participating and supporting meetings, while also lending a hand at every event. Their dedication is further demonstrated by stepping up as the Director of Women in Leadership, where they have driven initiatives to empower female leaders in the organization. Additionally, their meticulous work in taking board meeting minutes ensures that key discussions are well-documented.
Please join me in congratulating Rachel, Tom, and Manuel
