PPRC is currently accepting applications for presenters to participate in the annual Unconference. The Unconference is a session where mutliple speakers present on a topic for 15 minutes in duration, sharing lessons learned from their life, family, or work experience. Please contact Cheryl Beier, VP Education for additional information on presenting.

Topic: All Hands On Deck to PCI Compliance

Speaker: Renee Parks

The importance of engaged program management and project management best practices in achieving a very challenging program to implement PCI compliance across 10 cloud data centers worldwide within an impossible timeframe.




Speaker Bios:

Renee Parks is a Virtual Private Cloud Global Deployment Manager for DXC Technology, a global IT services company with world-class strength in customer service and IT operations (formed in April, 2017 by a merger of Hewlett-Packard Enterprise Services and CSC).  She leads a team of senior IT project managers deploying Cloud data center infrastructure globally.

She was a Software Support Consultant who added a PMP certification to her portfolio in 2009.  Being an MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer), and former Master Accredited Systems Engineer, she found that a hands-on technical background, combined with a PMP certification, makes for a very effective IT Project and Program Manager.  She feels this is such a strong combination of expertise that she has staffed her team with PMs that have this background.

Refund and Cancellation Policy:

The PMI Pikes Peak Regional Chapter Refund and Cancellation Policy is currently under revision. As per the approved revisions, cancellation of registrations for Chapter Meetings will be honored and refunds granted when the cancellation is completed/received by 11:59 PM seven business days before the event. 

You will be required to review and accept the current PMI Pikes Peak Regional Chapter Refund and Cancellation Policy as part of your registration.  Please review it here.
