This Workshop gives participants an understanding of the various aspects of both AGILE and SCRUM. We start with an overview of AGILE methodologies, then dive deeper into SCRUM (the most popular AGILE method). The Workshop is conducted in a manner applying the basic principles of AGILE: a round table discussion with conversation and hands-on exercises.

Brian Purcell, PMP, MCTS, ITILv3 and President of Xlander Consulting Inc.


Brian Purcell, PMP, MCTS, ITILv3 is President of Xlander Consulting Inc., an REP based in Colorado Springs.

For the past 20 years Mr. Purcell has been involved in all aspects of project management. He has successfully managed projects for fortune 500 companies spanning the Aerospace, Defense, Information Technology and Telecommunications industries. Currently Mr. Purcell is president of Xlander Consulting Inc., a project management training and consulting firm based in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He graduated from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale in 1985 and later received his Masters of Business Administration, in 2003 from the University of Dallas.

The Workshop may be cancelled or rescheduled under the following circumstances: (A) In the case of accident, illness or any other Act of God that prevents the program facilitator from being present or the venue to not be available. (B) The minimum number of registrations (10) has not been reached by midnight on September 18, 2017.
